Residential and Light Commercial General Contracting

John Bryan Construction, LLC performs residential and light commercial new construction, remodeling, and additions throughout the greater Chattanooga area. Our goal is not to be the biggest contractor in town.  Our goal is to be one of the best.  Managing quality work can only be done when your plate is not overflowing.  Attention to detail, undivided.

Our Story

John Bryan Construction, LLC was originally established in 2009.  In 2013, the state general contractors license was placed in retirement in order to devote time to raising young kids and grow his wife's business.  The time to reactivate the license has come and John Bryan Construction, LLC is back in business.

Our Service and Methods

Hands on Approach

Your home is likely your most valuable asset.  We understand and take the responsibility of improving it seriously.  We can renovate, add-on, or construct you a new home or commercial space.  We don't use inferior building products, we don't cut corners on proper construction methods, and above all, we communicate honestly with our clients, and we only hire subcontractors that do the same.  When you hire John Bryan Construction LLC you will likely see the owner John with a tool belt on and tape measure in hand.  We use subcontractors for certain trades at certain times, but the owner of the company will be onsite regularly monitoring and performing work on your project.  Doing it old school.

Residential and Light Commercial New Construction, Remodeling, & Additions

A successful project starts with an attention to detail and a full understanding of the clients wishes.  A strong finish to a project can not happen unless proper planning has been done.  For certain larger projects, we encourage our clients to seek out a professional design from a licensed architect or licensed interior designer.  It is imperative that the client has a strong understanding of what they are going to receive at completion of the project prior to it starting.  Proper planning and attention to detail by the contractor and owner in the per-construction phase is essential for a successful outcome.

Construction Management

Properly built homes and commercial structures have two commonalities.  They are built with attention to detail and the paper work is orderly.  Most contractors don't like paper work and its the least glamorous thing we do, but the flow of schedule updates, material shop drawings/submittals, and lien waivers are very important.  We treat this responsibility seriously, because if you don't, it impacts a successful outcome.
